FSC to Release an Online Insurance Resource Center with Data Integration to
WinFSC Comparative Rater Customers

FSC, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), announced today MarketLink, a
revolutionary new product designed to provide companies in the insurance
industry with a unique marketing medium while offering new products and services
to the independent agent community. This new product employs web based
technology that enables WinFSC customers to link to a centralized online
community where they will be able to offer an entirely new set of products to
their prospects and easily obtain various agency services from within the WinFSC
comparative rating application.
MarketLink
provides an Internet "hot-link" and data integration from the input screens of
the WinFSC comparative rater to an insurance carrier or a third party vendor’s
web site or online application. The link will allow the WinFSC user to be
directed to a company’s online environment for products such as Life Insurance,
Mexican Automobile Insurance, Umbrella Insurance, and Motorist Protection Plans
on behalf of their insureds. With MarketLink, independent agents will be able to
generate new revenue in the form of commissions and/or referral fees. MarketLink
also serves as an online vendor showcase allowing agents to obtain new agency
services from participating companies including CE courses, property photo
services, and computer consulting, shop for an agency management system, obtain
P&C appointments or obtain underwriting information from participating carriers.
